The wisdom comes in manageable doses (500-700 words) as an e-mail message to you every Friday morning, 52 weeks of the year.

There are many books and other resources available on labor law and labor arbitration, but this is the only one that focuses on how arbitrators decide cases and what they expect from advocates. Each week, the focus is on the issues and the best arguments, rather than an overview of the law and arbitral principles. In other words, the arbitrators give you the short answers to real problems that you face.

ATTENDING THE CONFERENCE INSTEAD
If you have attended one of our labor arbitration conferences, you know the labor arbitrators on the faculty are great teachers who convey practical information that you can use in your job. Wisdom of the Week is for the time in between conferences when you want to know the latest cases and learn about the techniques of other successful advocates. If you haven't attended one of our conferences, Wisdom of the Week allows you to make education a part of your jobs.

LEARNING BY E-MAIL
Wisdom of the Week arrives as a regular e-mail from the Labor Arbitration Institute to you every Friday. You can read and re-read it whenever and wherever it is convenient for you. You can print it out, even catalog it. But since it is a copyrighted article, you cannot forward or copy it to non-subscribers. The subscription cost is $95 a year. There are no other fees. We also have a trial period, just to ensure that you are a satisfied customer.

TRIAL PERIOD
If you are not satisfied with your subscription, we will refund your money anytime up to and including the fourth issue that you receive (up to 1 month later). Each year, you are given the option to renew or cancel, as well.
